At the General Hospital of Eastern Achaia – Aigio Hospital Unit, your support is our strength. Every donation, small or large, translates into better patient care, modern equipment, and the upgrading of healthcare services for our local community. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing by us and helping us offer the most precious good: health. Your donation may be directed to:

• The purchase of medical and technological equipment
• The needs of a clinic / laboratory / department
• The coverage of emergency needs (clothing / linen)
• The Hospital’s Visual Arts Interventions sector
• Research purposes
• Hospital renovation works

Donations may also be made in memory of a person you wish to honor.
With transparency and the simplification of procedures as our guiding principles, we inform you about the new digital donation process. As of January 1st, 2026, in accordance with the provisions of Law 5259/2025 (Government Gazette 228A), the process of making donations to the 6th Health Region (6th H.P.E.) changes and becomes fully digitized.
For the acceptance of any donation (monetary, goods, or services), its prior submission on the e-Donations electronic platform of the Unified Digital Portal (gov.gr) is now mandatory. Before depositing any amount or delivering goods, the donor must log in to the platform e-dorees.gov.gr using their TaxisNet credentials and submit a “Declaration of Intent to Donate.” Upon completion of the declaration, a Donation Identification Code (DIC) is issued. This code is required for the accounting settlement of the donation.

For monetary donations, the deposit to our organization’s bank account must mandatorily include the above-mentioned DIC in the transaction description. Please note that the tax deduction to which donors are entitled will be recognized by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) only if the donation has been processed through the e-Donations platform. Therefore, in compliance with the legislation, hospitals can no longer accept donations that have not received the relevant digital code prior to their execution.
